Abstract

  • The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) for Classified Hotels in Kalimantan Timur Province in January 2023 was recorded at 53.52 percent, down 7.26 points compared to the ROR in January 2022. When compared to the previous month, the ROR in January 2023 decreased by 14.00 points.
  • The total average length of stay of guests at Classified Hotels in January 2023 reached 1.69 days. The average length of stay for foreign guests is 2.65 days, while the average length of stay for domestic guests is 1.68 days.
  • During January 2023, 13 foreign tourists visited Kalimantan Timur. When compared to the previous month, the number of foreign tourists in January 2023 has increased by 85.71 percent.
  • The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in January 2023 was 190,284 people, down 15.14 percent compared to December 2022. Meanwhile, the number of passengers for overseas (international) destinations was 394 people, an increase of 9,750.00 percent compared to the previous month.
  • The number of domestic sea transport passengers departing in January 2023 was recorded as 40,460 people, an increase of 14.29 percent compared to December 2022. When compared to the same period in 2022, the number of passengers increased by 83.05 percent.
