Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) for star-class hotels in Kalimantan Timur Province in November 2022 was recorded at 66.51 percent, up 3.06 points compared to the ROR in November 2021. When compared to the previous month, the ROR in November 2022 experienced an increase of 2.31 points.
The average total length of stay of guests at star-class hotels in November 2022 was 1.65 days. The average length of stay for foreign guests is 1.86 days while the average length of stay for domestic guests is 1.65 days.
During November 2022, 1 foreign tourist visited Kalimantan Timur. During January-November 2022, the number of foreign tourists reached 336, an increase of 69.70 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in November 2022 was 184,917 people, an increase of 3.58 percent compared to October 2022. Meanwhile, the number of passengers for overseas (international) destinations decreased by 62.96 percent, there were 10 people. During January-November 2022, the number of domestic passengers was 1,872,847 people and the number of international passengers was 2,849 people, an increase of 66.32 percent and 2,091.54 percent respectively compared to the same period in 2021.
The number of domestic sea transport passengers departing in November 2022 was recorded as 29,834 people, a decrease of 30.70 percent compared to October 2022. During January-November 2022, the number of passengers reached 391,825 people, an increase of 81.36 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
