Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) for star-class hotels in Kalimantan Timur Province in December 2022 was recorded at 67.52 percent, up 4.90 points compared to the TPK in December 2021. When compared to the previous month, the TPK in December 2022 experienced an increase of 1.01 points.
The total average length of stay of guests at star-classified hotels in December 2022 reached 1.49 days. The average length of stay for foreign guests is 2.81 days, while the average length of stay for domestic guests is 1.48 days.
During December 2022, 7 foreign tourists visited Kalimantan Timur. Cumulatively from January to December 2022, the number of foreign tourists was recorded at 343 people, an increase of 73.23 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in December 2022 was 224,223 people, an increase of 21.26 percent compared to November 2022. Meanwhile, the number of passengers for overseas (international) destinations decreased by 60.00 percent, there were 4 people. During January-December 2022, the number of domestic passengers was 2,097,070 people and the number of international passengers was 2,853 people, an increase of 63.31 percent and 2,094.62 percent respectively compared to the same period in 2021.
The number of domestic sea transport passengers departing in December 2022 was recorded at 35,400 people, an increase of 18.66 percent compared to November 2022. During January-December 2022, the number of passengers reached 417,786 people, an increase of 70.55 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
