Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) for star-class hotels in Kalimantan Timur in February 2023 was recorded at 60.71 percent, up 1.81 points compared to the ROR in February 2022. When compared to the previous month, the ROR in February 2023 experienced an increase of 7.19 points.
The average length of stay for star-class hotel guests in February 2023 was 1.77 days. The average length of stay for foreign guests is 2.12 days, while the average length of stay for domestic guests is 1.76 days.
During February 2023 there were 40 visits by foreign tourists to Kalimantan Timur. When compared to the previous month, the number of foreign tourist visits in February 2023 increased by 207.69 percent.
The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in February 2023 was 189,782 people, a decrease of 0.26 percent compared to January 2023. Meanwhile, the number of passengers for overseas (international) destinations was 2,009 people, an increase of 409.90 percent compared to the previous month.
The number of domestic sea transport passengers departing in February 2023 was recorded at 20,962 people, a decrease of 48.19 percent compared to January 2023.
