Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star classification hotels in Kalimantan Timur Province in July 2022 was recorded at 61.23 percent, an increase of 22.19 points compared to the TPK in July 2021. When compared to the previous month, the TPK in July 2022 decreased by 3.37 points.
The total average length of stay of guests in star classification hotels in July 2022 reached 1.47 days. The average length of stay for foreign guests is 2.17 days, while the average length of stay for domestic guests is 1.46 days.
During July 2022, 162 foreign tourists visited Kalimantan Timur, an increase of 39.66 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in the same period in 2021.
The number of domestic air transport passengers who departed in July 2022 was 187,766 people, down 3.65 percent compared to June 2022. Meanwhile, the number of passengers for overseas (international) destinations fell 95.66 percent to 109 people. During January-July 2022, the number of domestic passengers was 1,174,819 people and the number of international passengers was 2,625 people, an increase of 59.80 percent and 20,092.31 percent respectively compared to the same period in 2021.
The number of domestic sea transport passengers departing in July 2022 was 41,636 people, a decrease of 14.18 percent compared to June 2022. During January-July 2022, the number of passengers reached 245,659 people, an increase of 86.44 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
