Abstract

  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star classification hotels in Kalimantan Timur Province in June 2022 was recorded at 64.60 percent, an increase of 6.93 points compared to the TPK in June 2021. When compared to the previous month, the TPK in June 2022 also increased by 2.06 points.
  • The total average length of stay of guests at star classification hotels in June 2022 reached 1.59 days. The average length of stay for foreign guests is 2.72 days, while the average length of stay for domestic guests is 1.58 days.
  • During June 2022 there were no foreign tourist visits to Kalimantan Timur.
  • The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in June 2022 was 194,873 people, an increase of 1.12 percent compared to May 2022. Meanwhile, the number of passengers for overseas (international) destinations rose 83,666.67 percent to 2,513 people. During January-June 2022, the number of domestic passengers was 987,053 people and the number of international passengers was 2,516 people, an increase of 42.66 percent and 19,253.85 percent respectively compared to the same period in 2021.
  • The number of domestic sea transport passengers who departed in June 2022 was recorded at 48,516 people, an increase of 48.83 percent compared to May 2022. During January-June 2022, the number of passengers reached 204,023 people, an increase of 87.14 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
