June 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Kalimantan Timur Province will be 2.99 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Berau Regency at 3.67 percent.

Abstract

In June 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Kalimantan Timur Province will be 2.99 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.17. The highest inflation occurred in Berau Regency at 3.67 percent with a CPI of 107.52 and the lowest occurred in North Penajam Paser Regency at 2.36 percent with a CPI of 107.46.
Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 6.54 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.65 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.60 percent; health group at 4.90 percent; transportation group by 2.90 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 1.42 percent; education group at 0.81 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 1.18 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 4.00 percent. On the other hand, there were two groups of expenditure that experienced a decrease in the index, namely: equipment, equipment and routine household maintenance group by 0.76 percent and information, communication and financial services group by 0.34 percent.
On a month to month (m-to-m) basis, there will be a decline in the price index (deflation) in June 2024 of 0.05 percent. Meanwhile, year to date (y-to-d), in June 2024 inflation will be 1.70 percent.

August 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in East Kalimantan Province will be 2.13 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Berau Regency at 2.64 percent.

September 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Kalimantan Timur Province will be 2.16 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Berau Regency at 3.34 percent.

The Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in October 2024 was 1.75 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Berau Regency at 3.54 percent.

The Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in March 2024 was 3.03 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Berau Regency at 4.05 percent

Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in East Kalimantan Province amounted to 2.18 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Berau Regency at 2.58 percent
