August 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in East Kalimantan Province will be 2.13 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Berau Regency at 2.64 percent.

Abstract

In August 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Kalimantan Timur Province will be 2.13 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.63. The highest inflation occurred in Berau Regency at 2.64 percent with a CPI of 106.69 and the lowest occurred in North Penajam Paser Regency at 1.37 percent with a CPI of 105.75.
Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 4.39 percent; clothing and footwear group at 2.18 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.32 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.06 percent; health group at 4.90 percent; transportation group by 0.15 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 1.87 percent; education group by 1.70 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 1.26 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 5.14 percent. On the other hand, the expenditure group that experienced a decline in the index was the information, communication and financial services group by 0.35 percent.
On a month to month (m-to-m) basis, there will be a decline in the price index (deflation) in August 2024 of 0.12 percent. Meanwhile, year to date (y-to-d), in August 2024 inflation will be 1.19 percent.

June 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Kalimantan Timur Province will be 2.99 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Berau Regency at 3.67 percent.

April 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Kalimantan Timur Province is 3.21 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Berau Regency at 3.62 percent

The Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in October 2024 was 1.75 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Berau Regency at 3.54 percent.
