Abstract

A. EXPORT

The export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in January 2017 reached US $ 1.49 billion or an increase of 8.55 percent compared to exports in December 2016. Meanwhile, when compared to January 2016 increased by 31.89 percent.

Oil and gas exports in January 2017 reached US $ 0.35 billion, up 16.78 percent over December 2016, while non-oil exports in January 2017 reached US $ 1.14 billion, up 6.24 percent compared to December 2016.

The cumulative value of exports of Kalimantan Timur Province in January-December, 2016 reached US $ 13.84 billion, down 20.48 percent over the same period in 2015. Of the total exports in January-December 2016, oil and gas exports reached US $ 3.78 billion, or decreased 40.83 percent and non-oil reached US $ 10.06 billion, or a decrease of 8.67 percent.

 

 B. IMPORT

Kalimantan Timur Province import value in January 2017 reached US $ 0.22 billion, or a decline of 30.93 percent over imports in December 2016. Meanwhile, when compared to January 2016 decreased by 8.79 percent.

Oil and gas imports in January 2017 reached US $ 0.17 billion, down 20.99 percent compared to December 2016, while non-oil imports in January 2017 reached US $ 0.05 billion, down by 51.94 per cent compared to December 2016.

The cumulative value of imports of Kalimantan Timur Province in January-December, 2016 reached US $ 3.71 billion, down 32.54 percent over the same period in 2015. Of the total imports in January-December 2016, oil and gas imports reached US $ 2.61 billion or decreased 36.83 percent and non-oil reached $ 1.10 billion, down 19.55 percent.

Kalimantan Timur Province trade balance in January 2017 surplus of US $ 1.27 billion, larger if compared to the month of December 2016 surplus of US $ 1.06 billion, thus, the cumulative surplus from January to December, 2016 amounted to US $ 10.13 billion.
