Exports and Imports of Kalimantan Timur Province in April 2017

EXPORT

·         The export value of Kalimantan Timur in April 2017 reached US $ 1.37 billion or decreased by 11.16 percent compared to March 2017. Meanwhile, compared to April 2016, it increased by 32.16 percent.

·         April 2017 oil and gas exports reached US $ 0.30 billion, down 16.94 percent compared to March 2017, while non-oil and gas exports in April 2017 reached US $ 1.07 billion, down 9.42 percent compared to March 2017.

·         Cumulatively, the export value of Kalimantan Timur in JanuaryApril 2017 reached US $ 5.68 billion or increased by 29.93 percent compared to the same period in 2016. Of all exports from January to April 2017, oil and gas exports reached US $ 1.38 billion Increased by 2.23 percent and non-oil / gas reached US $ 4.30 billion or increased by 42.33 percent.

IMPORT

·         The import value of Kalimantan Timur in April 2017 reached US $ 0.21 billion or increased by 40.00 percent compared to import in March 2017. Meanwhile, compared to April 2016, it decreased by 41.10 percent.

·         April 2017 oil and gas imports reached US $ 0.14 billion, up 53.21 percent compared to March 2017, while non-oil and gas imports in April 2017 reached US $ 0.07 billion, up 20.18 percent compared to March 2017.

·         The cumulative value of Kalimantan Timur imports from January to April 2017 reached US $ 0.84 billion or decreased 28.77 percent compared to the same period in 2016. Of all imports from January to April 2017, oil and gas imports reached US $ 0.59 billion or Down 26.58 percent and non oil and gas reached US $ 0.25 billion or decreased 33.48 percent.

·         The Kalimantan Timur trade balance in April 2017 was a surplus of US $ 1.16 billion, less than the March 2010 surplus of US $ 1.39 billion, thus the cumulative January-April 2017 surplus of US $ 4.84 billion.
