Happy 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia

On August 17, 2024, BPS Bontang City held a Ceremony to Commemorate the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia which was attended by all employees at the BPS Bontang City Office Yard.

On this occasion, the SatyaLancana Karya Satya award was also given to three BPS employees for their dedication as Civil Servants. The employees are:

1. Ir. Nur Wahid, M.M. (30 years old)

2. Sitti Aisyah Ramli (20 years old)

3. Meylan Ratnawati Panjaitan, S.Si., M.A., M.S.E. (10 years old)

The 79th Independence Day Commemoration is a moment of reflection as well as celebration to appreciate the journey of the nation's history. In 2024, Indonesia has gone through various changes and challenges, but the spirit of independence declared in 1945 remains the main driving force in efforts for development and progress.
