Abstract

  • The export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in April 2022 reached US$ 3.33 billion or an increase of 9.40 percent compared to exports in March 2022. Meanwhile, compared to April 2021, it increased by 70.54 percent.
  • The export value of oil and gas goods in April 2022 reached US$ 240.65 million, down 9.85 percent compared to March 2022. Meanwhile, exports of non-oil and gas goods in April 2022 reached US$ 3.09 billion, an increase of 11.25 percent compared to the previous month. March 2022.
  • Cumulatively, the export value of Kalimantan Timur Province for the January–April 2022 period reached US$ 9.46 billion, an increase of 70.54 percent over the same period in 2021.
  • Of all exports for the period January - April 2022, the role of exports of oil and gas goods reached 8.03 percent, while the role of exports of non-oil and gas goods reached 91.97 percent.
  • The import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in April 2022 reached US$ 512.82 million or decreased by 1.83 percent compared to imports in March 2022. Meanwhile, compared to April 2021, it increased by 128.69 percent.
  • Imports of oil and gas goods in April 2022 reached US$ 368.36 million, down 4.41 percent compared to March 2022. Meanwhile, imports of non-oil and gas goods in April 2022 reached US$ 144.46 million, up 5.42 percent compared to March 2022.
  • Cumulatively, the import value of Kalimantan Timur Province for the January - April 2022 period reached US $ 1.56 billion, an increase of 130.80 percent compared to the same period in 2021. Of all imports for the January - April 2022 period, the role of imports of oil and gas goods reached 65.41 percent while the role of imports of non-oil and gas goods reached 34.59 percent.
  • The trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province in April 2022 was a surplus of US$ 2.82 billion, an increase when compared to the trade balance in March 2022 which had a surplus of US$ 2.52 billion. Meanwhile, cumulatively, the trade balance of  Kalimantan Timur Province for the period January – April 2022 was a surplus of US$ 7.90 billion.
