Abstract

  • The export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in February 2022 reached US$ 2.01 billion or an increase of 85.89 percent compared to exports in January 2022. Meanwhile, compared to February 2021, it increased by 55.40 percent.
  • The export value of oil and gas goods in February 2022 reached US$ 179.71 million, an increase of 147.69 percent compared to January 2022. Meanwhile, exports of non-oil and gas goods in February 2022 reached US$ 1.83 billion, up 81.44 percent compared to the previous month. January 2022.
  • Cumulatively, the export value of Kalimantan Timur Province for the January – February 2022 period reached US$ 3.09 billion, an increase of 20.41 percent over the same period in 2021.
  • Of all exports for the period January - February 2022, the role of exports of oil and gas goods reached 8.16 percent, while the role of exports of non-oil and gas goods reached 91.84 percent.
  • The import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in February 2022 reached US$ 324.36 million or an increase of 61.19 percent compared to imports in January 2022. Meanwhile, when compared to February 2021, it increased by 162.17 percent.
  • Imports of oil and gas goods in February 2022 reached US$ 201.31 million, an increase of 205.69 percent compared to January 2022. Meanwhile, imports of non-oil and gas goods in February 2022 reached US$ 123.05 million, down 9.10 percent compared to January 2022 .
  • Cumulatively, the import value of Kalimantan Timur Province for the January – February 2022 period reached US$ 525.59 million, an increase of 108.73 percent compared to the same period in 2021. Of all imports for the January – February 2022 period, the role of imports of oil and gas goods reached 50.83 percent while the role of imports of non-oil and gas goods reached 49.17 percent.
  • The trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province in February 2022 was a surplus of US$ 1.68 billion, an increase when compared to the trade balance in January 2022 which had a surplus of US$ 879.81 million. Meanwhile, cumulatively, the trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province for the period January – February 2022 was a surplus of US$ 2.56 billion.
