Abstract

  • Kalimantan Timur Province NTP in August 2020 amounted to 110.31 or increased 1.90 percent compared to NTP in July 2020. The increase in NTP was caused by an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) and a decrease in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib).
  • NTP per sub-sector of Kalimantan Timur Province August 2020, namely the Food Crop Farmers Exchange Rate (NTPP) of 101.35; Horticultural Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPH) of 104.30; Exchange Rate of Smallholder Plantation Crops (NTPR) of 122.19; Farmers Exchange Rate (NTPT) of 102.09; and Fishermen and Fish Cultivator Exchange Rate (NTNP) of 102.79.
  • In August 2020, there were three sub-sectors that experienced an increase in NTP, namely the food crops sub-sector (0.36 percent), the smallholder plantation sub-sector (4.60 percent) and the fisheries sub-sector (0.78 percent). Meanwhile, two other sub-sectors experienced a decline, namely the horticulture sub-sector (-1.53 ​​percent) and the livestock sub-sector (-0.57 percent).
  • The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Businesses (NTUP) of  Kalimantan Timur Province in August 2020 was 111.14 or an increase of 1.60 percent compared to NTUP in July 2020 which was recorded at 109.39. There are three sub-sectors that have experienced an increase in NTUP, namely the food crops sub-sector, the people's estate crops sub-sector, and the fisheries sub-sector.
