Abstract

  • The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increasing by 1.15 percent, while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.54 percent.
  • NTP July 2024 in each subsector: Food Crop Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPP) of 103.13, Horticulture Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPH) of 111.46, Smallholder Plantation Crop Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPR) of 186.74, Livestock Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) of 106.77, and Fishermen and Fish Cultivators Exchange Rate (NTNP) of 99.65.
  • In July 2024, there were three subsectors that experienced an increase in NTP, namely the food crop subsector by 0.18 percent, the smallholder plantation crop subsector by 4.19 percent, and the fisheries subsector by 0.96 percent. In contrast, two subsectors experienced a decrease, namely the horticulture subsector by 5.12 percent and the livestock subsector by 1.38 percent.
  • The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in July 2024 amounted to 142.23 or increased by 1.03 percent compared to the NTUP in June 2024 which was recorded at 140.78. There were two subsectors that experienced an increase in NTUP, namely the smallholder plantation crop subsector by 3.56 percent and the fisheries subsector by 0.21 percent. In contrast, three subsectors experienced a decrease in NTUP, namely the food crop subsector by 0.60 percent, the horticulture subsector by 5.77 percent, and the livestock subsector by 1.90 percent.
