Abstract

A. EXPORT

The export value of Kalimantan Timur in March 2017 reached US $ 1.54 billion or increased by 21.46 percent compared to February 2017. Meanwhile, compared to March 2016, it increased by 35.93 percent.

Oil and gas exports in March 2017 reached US $ 0.36 billion, down 4.25 percent compared to February 2017, while non-oil and gas exports in March 2017 reached US $ 1.19 billion, up 32.18 percent compared to February 2017.

The cumulative export value of Kalimantan Timur from January to March 2017 reached US $ 4.30 billion or increased by 29.24 percent compared to the same period in 2016. Of all exports from January to March 2017, oil and gas exports reached US $ 1.08 billion Increased by 1.87 percent and non-oil / gas reached US $ 3.22 billion or increased by 42.08 percent.


B. IMPORT

The import value of Kalimantan Timur in March 2017 reached US $ 0.15 billion or decreased by 41.75 percent compared to import in February 2017. Meanwhile, compared to March 2016, it decreased by 54.27 percent.

Oil and gas imports in March 2017 reached US $ 0.09 billion, down 52.71 percent compared to February 2017, while non-oil / gas imports in March 2017 reached US $ 0.06 billion, down 10.68 percent compared to February 2017.

Cumulatively, the import value of Kalimantan Timur from January to March 2017 reached US $ 0.63 billion or decreased by 23.35 percent compared to the same period in 2016. Of all imports from January to March 2017, oil and gas imports reached US $ 0.45 billion or Down 22.79 percent and non oil and gas reached US $ 0.17 billion or decreased 24.75 percent.

Kalimantan Timur's trade balance in March 2017 was a surplus of US $ 1.39 billion, higher than the February 2010 surplus of US $ 1.01 billion, thus the cumulative January-March 2017 surplus of US $ 3.68 billion.
