Socialization of the Decree on Data List & Decree on SDI Data Management for Bontang City in 2024

(08/16/2024) The Bontang City Communication and Informatics Office as the SDI Data Guardian carried out the Socialization of the 2024 SDI Data List Decree and SDI Data Management Decree for Bontang City at the West Bontang BPU. This activity was attended by data managers from each OPD in Bontang City. In this activity, Mr. Ir. Nur Wahid, M.M. (Head of Bontang City BPS) also became a resource person along with Mr. Binson Hutagalung, S.Kom., M.Ec. (Young Expert Planner of Bontang City Bapperida), and Mr. Agus Salim Umar, S.T., M.A.P. (Head of Statistics and Encryption, Bontang City Diskominfo).

As the Data Supervisor, the Head of Bontang City BPS delivered a presentation entitled "Building the Bontang City Data System". He explained the importance of data in development, an overview of SDI implementation, the role of data producers, metadata, and statistical recommendations. Continued presentation related to the transformation of Bontang City data management by Bapperida and presentation related to the collection of quality sectoral statistical data by Diskominfo. Active collaboration from data managers in each OPD is expected to be well established so that sectoral statistical management in Bontang City will also be even better.
