The Food Crop Tiles Survey is a routine survey

carried out by the Central Statistics Agency every subround with the aim of

The main objective is to obtain information regarding the productivity of food crops

(rice and secondary crops). Food crops surveyed included rice and secondary crops (corn, cassava, sweet potato and peanuts). In this survey, plants were harvested in 1 plot measuring 2.5 x 2.5 meters as a sample. Determining the plot location in a stretch of land is determined using Random Numbers.
