Domestic air transport passengers in October 2024 increased by 1.05 percent compared to September, while sea transport passengers in October 2024 decreased by 5.05 percent compared to September.

Abstract

The number of domestic air transport passengers dispatched in October 2024 was 256,279 people, an increase of 1.05 percent compared to September 2024. Conversely, the number of international passengers was 3,392 people, a decrease of 17.61 percent compared to the previous month.

The number of domestic air transport passengers dispatched from January to October 2024 increased by 13.04 percent compared to the same period in 2023. Meanwhile, from January to October 2024, the number of international passengers was 42,005 people, a significant increase of 21.00 percent.
The number of domestic sea transport passengers dispatched in October 2024 was recorded at 38,310 people, a decrease of 5.05 percent compared to September 2024. During the period from January to October 2024, the number of passengers reached 418,058 people, an increase of 5.59 percent.
The amount of cargo transported in October 2024 decreased by 18.21 percent compared to September 2024, reaching 8,928.70 thousand tons. During the period from January to October 2024, the amount of cargo transported reached 87,703.44 thousand tons.
