The number of domestic air transportation passengers in July 2024 decreased by 2.88 percent compared to June 2024. The number of sea transportation passengers in July 2024 increased by 13.67 percent compared to June 2024.

Abstract

The number of domestic air transportation passengers who departed in July 2024 was 258,164 people, a decrease of 2.88 percent compared to June 2024. Meanwhile, the number of passengers for overseas (international) destinations was 4,025 people or a decrease of 29.20 percent when compared to the previous month.
The number of domestic air transportation passengers departed during January - July 2024 increased by 10.59 percent compared to the same period in 2023. Meanwhile, during January - July 2024 the number of international passengers was 30,473 people or a significant increase of 31.35 percent.
The number of domestic sea transportation passengers departing in July 2024 was 47,957 people, an increase of 13.67 percent compared to June 2024. During the period January - July 2024, the number of passengers reached 293,964 people, an increase of 1.13 percent.
The number of goods transported in July 2024 increased by 2.69 percent compared to June 2024 to 9,191.34 thousand tons. During the period January - July 2024, the amount of goods transported reached 58,695.25 thousand tons.

The number of domestic air transportation passengers in April 2024 increased by 44.26 percent compared to March. Sea transportation passengers in April 2024 increased by 87.41 percent compared to March.

The number of domestic air transportation passengers in May 2024 decreased by 28.05 percent compared to April. The number of sea transportation passengers in May 2024 decreased by 54.80 percent compared to April.

The number of domestic air transportation passengers in January 2024 decreased by 18,31 percent compared to the previous month and sea transportation passengers decreased by 24.36 percent.

Domestic air transport passengers in October 2024 increased by 1.05 percent compared to September, while sea transport passengers in October 2024 decreased by 5.05 percent compared to September.
