Abstract

The number of domestic air transportation passengers who departed in June 2024 was 265,825 people, an increase of 21.81 percent compared to May 2024. Conversely, the number of passengers traveling abroad (international) was 5,685 people or decreased by 26.03 percent compared to the previous month.
The number of domestic air transportation passengers departed during January - June 2024 increased by 10.01 percent compared to the same period in 2023. Meanwhile, during January - June 2024 the number of international passengers was 26,448 people or a significant increase of 33.60 percent.
The number of domestic sea transportation passengers who departed in June 2024 was 42,191 people, an increase of 30.87 percent compared to May 2024. During the period January - June 2024, the number of passengers reached 246,007 people, an increase of 2.77 percent.
The number of goods transported in June 2024 increased by 0.93 percent compared to May 2024 to 8,950.50 thousand tons. During the period January - June 2024, the amount of goods transported reached 49,503.91 thousand tons.
