Abstract

  • The decline in NTP was caused by the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) falling by 0.26 percent, while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) rose by 0.14 percent.
  • NTP June 2024 in each subsector: Food Crop Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPP) of 102.94, Horticulture Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPH) of 117.47, Smallholder Crop Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPR) of 179.23, Exchange Rate Livestock Farmers (NTPT) was 108.26, and the Exchange Rate for Fishermen and Fish Cultivators (NTNP) was 98.71.
  • In June 2024, there are two subsectors that will experience an increase in NTP, namely the horticulture subsector by 0.61 percent and the livestock subsector by 1.65 percent. On the other hand, three subsectors experienced a decline, namely the food crops subsector by 0.01 percent, the smallholder plantation crops subsector by 1.11 percent, and the fisheries subsector by 0.47 percent.
  • The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in June 2024 was 140.78 or down 0.31 percent compared to the NTUP in May 2024 which was recorded at 141.22. There were three subsectors that experienced an increase in NTUP, namely the food crops subsector by 0.11 percent, the horticulture subsector by 0.72 percent, and the livestock subsector by 1.57 percent. On the other hand, two subsectors experienced a decline in NTUP, namely the smallholder plantation crops subsector by 0.99 percent and the fisheries subsector by 0.36 percent.
