Abstract

  • The export value of  Kalimantan Timur Province in December 2021 reached US$ 2.30 billion or decreased by 22.34 percent compared to exports in November 2021. Meanwhile, when compared to December 2020, it increased by 65.67 percent.
  • The export value of oil and gas goods in December 2021 was recorded at US$ 185.73 million, a decrease of 48.27 percent compared to November 2021. Meanwhile, exports of non-oil and gas goods in December 2021 were recorded at US$ 2.11 billion, down 18.77 percent compared to the previous month. November 2021.
  • Cumulatively, the export value of Kalimantan Timur Province for the January – December 2021 period reached US$ 23.74 billion, an increase of 207.15 percent over the same period in 2020.
  • Of all exports for the January - December 2021 period, the role of exports of oil and gas goods reached 6.76 percent, while the role of exports of non-oil and gas goods reached 93.24 percent.
  • The import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in December 2021 reached US$ 768.48 million or an increase of 199.70 percent compared to imports in November 2021. Meanwhile, when compared to December 2020, it increased by 388.06 percent.
  • Imports of oil and gas goods in December 2021 reached US$ 593.82 million, an increase of 338.75 percent compared to November 2021. Meanwhile, imports of non-oil and gas goods in December 2021 reached US$ 174.66 million, an increase of 44.26 percent compared to November 2021.
  • Cumulatively, the import value of Kalimantan Timur Province for the January – December 2021 period reached US$ 3.33 billion, an increase of 84.71 percent compared to the same period in 2020.
  • Of all imports for the period January - December 2021, the role of imports of oil and gas goods reached 52.14 percent, while the role of imports of non-oil and gas goods reached 47.86 percent.
  • The trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province in December 2021 had a surplus of US$ 1.53 billion, a decrease when compared to the trade balance in November 2021 which had a surplus of US$ 2.71 billion. Meanwhile, cumulatively, the trade balance of East Kalimantan Province for the period January – December 2021 was a surplus of US$ 20.41 billion.
