Abstract

The increase in FTT was caused by the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which rose higher than the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib).
FTT per sub-sector of Kalimantan Timur Province in December 2021, namely the Exchange Rate of Food Crops Farmers (NTPP) of 93.93; Horticultural Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTPH) of 109.65; Farmers' Exchange Rate for People's Plantation Crops (NTPR) is 172.92; Livestock Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) of 105.88; and the Exchange Rate of Fishermen and Fish Cultivators (NTNP) of 100.78.
In December 2021, there were three sub-sectors that experienced an increase in FTT, namely the food crops sub-sector (0.35 percent), the horticulture sub-sector (6.71 percent), and the smallholder plantation sub-sector (3.88 percent). Meanwhile, two other sub-sectors experienced a decline, namely the livestock sub-sector (-1.19 percent) and the fisheries sub-sector (-0.22 percent).
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kalimantan Timur Province in December 2021 was 131.90, an increase of 2.80 percent compared to the NTUP in November 2021 which was recorded at 128.31. There are four sub-sectors that experienced an increase in NTUP, namely the food crops sub-sector, the horticulture sub-sector, the people's plantation sub-sector, and the fisheries sub-sector.
