Economy of Kalimantan Timur Province in Quarter III-2021 grew 1.14 Percent (Q-To-Q), grew 4.51 Percent (Y-on-Y), grew 2.34 Percent (C-to-C)

Abstract

The economy of Kalimantan Timur Province based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) based on current prices in Quarter III-2021 reached Rp. 179.09 billion and based on constant prices in 2010 it reached Rp. 122.24 trillion.
The economy of Kalimantan Timur Province in Quarter III-2021 compared to the previous quarter grew by 1.14 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the Electricity and Gas Procurement Business Field experienced the highest growth of 10.57 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) component experienced the highest growth of 3.47 percent.
The economy of Kalimantan Timur Province in Quarter III-2021 to Quarter III-2020 experienced a growth of 4.51 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the Health Services and Social Activities Business Field experienced the highest growth of 9.97 percent. From the expenditure side, the Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) component experienced the highest growth of 9.25 percent.
The cumulative economy of Kalimantan Timur Province for Quarter I-2021 to Quarter III-2021 against Quarter I-2020 to Quarter III-2020 grew by 2.34 percent (c-to-c). In terms of production, the largest growth occurred in the Health Services and Social Activities Business Field of 16.35 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, all components grew, the highest growth occurred in the Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) component of 7.98 percent.
Growth (y-on-y) in Quarter III-2021 occurred in all provinces on the island of Kalimantan. Kalimantan Timur Province contributed the highest contribution of 50.20 percent with a growth (y-on-y) of 4.51 percent.
