Abstract

  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Kalimantan Timur Province in July 2021 reached 39.04 percent, this figure decreased by 18.63 points compared to the TPK in June 2021.
  • The total average length of stay of guests at five-star hotels in July 2021 reached 1.86 days. The average length of stay for foreign guests is 3.48 days, while the average length of stay for domestic guests is 1.85 days.
  • During July 2021, foreign tourist visits reached 116 (one hundred and sixteen) visits or an increase of 116 visits compared to June 2021.
  • Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists visiting Kalimantan Timur in the period January 2021 - July 2021 reached 198 visits.
  • The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in July 2021 was 43,281,000 people, a decrease of 71.94 percent compared to June 2021. The number of passengers for overseas (international) destinations departing in June 2021 showed zero.
  • The number of domestic sea transport passengers who departed in July 2021 was recorded at 21.178 thousand people, a decrease of 15.71 percent compared to June 2021.
