Abstract

Kalimantan Timur Province in March 2017 experienced inflation of 0.15 percent, or changes in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 131.32 in February 2017 to 131.51 in March 2017. As of March 2017 calendar year, inflation amounted to 1.15 percent, while the year on year inflation of 3.89 percent.
If broken down by municipality, in March 2017, the Samarinda Municipality experienced inflation of 0.28 percent with CPI of 130.68. While the city of Balikpapan Municipality experiencing deflation -0.03 percent with CPI of 132.61. As of March 2017 Inflation Samarinda Municipality calendar year by 1.44 percent, while 0.78 percent of Balikpapan Municipality. Meanwhile, the year on year inflation of Samarinda Municipality amounted to 3.27 percent and Balikpapan Municipality 4.69 percent.
