The Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI) is a measuring tool used to assess the level of development of democracy in Indonesia.

The IDI is compiled by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in collaboration with the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs. This index provides an overview of the extent to which democracy is implemented, including an evaluation of political rights, the role of state institutions, and public participation in the democratic process.
