The 2020 Population Census (SP2020) is Indonesia's effort to achieve one population data. The implementation of SP2020 has switched to using a combination method through the use of population administration data from the Ministry of Home Affairs as basic data in the implementation of SP2020. The series of SP2020 activities are carried out in two stages, namely population data collection using the short form and other instruments that have been implemented in 2020, which will then be continued by using the long form in 2021.
The SP2020 Long Form data collection is carried out to obtain accurate demographic parameters where the data collection is carried out by collecting more complete data not only related to demographic parameters, but also related to education, disability, employment and housing. Therefore, a sample census was designed as a follow-up population census in 2021 using a questionnaire containing more and more complex questions or referred to as the SP2020 Long Form Data Collection.
Before conducting SP2020 Long Form Data Collection, the SP 2020 Long Form Pre-Updating activity was first carried out. This activity has three main objectives, namely to update/update family or household lists based on SP2020 results, update/update building points on the WB map -2020 as well as an illustration of cases found in the field so that more mature planning can be carried out for SP2020 long form activities next year.
The Pre-Updating Long Form SP2020 activity was carried out from October 17, 2021 to November 10, 2021, involving 17 field enumerators, 5 inspectors and 1 Koseka. The enumeration was carried out using the Paper Assisted Personal Interviewing (PAPI) method on 79 Census Blocks spread throughout Bontang City.
