Wholesale Price Survey (SHPB) Activities in 2021

SHPB is a monthly survey that aims to obtain reliable and timely wholesale price statistics to determine price developments over time. In addition, data from the SHPB is also used as material for the preparation of the Wholesale Price Index (IHPB) figures on a monthly basis.

IHPB is an index number that describes the magnitude of price changes in the wholesale price level of commodities traded in an area. These commodities are domestic products marketed domestically as well as exported and imported commodities.

The February SHPB field enumeration activity was carried out on February 1-15, 2021 while still paying attention to the Covid-19 prevention health protocol.
